Sadly, the truth is that the one lying to and deceiving the public is the American Lung Association. Most electronic cigarette companies are honestly and correctly informing their customers that these products are safer than cigarettes and that they may be helpful to some people in getting them off tobacco cigarettes. These are demonstrably truthful statements.

Dr. Glantz is simply wrong. There is abundant evidence which demonstrates that while vaping does cause some degree of respiratory irritation (and probably triggers a bit of inflammation), it is far safer than smoking and has far less of an effect on lung function.

While Senator Rockefeller attacks the electronic cigarette companies for targeting kids with flavored products that he claims is going to addict and harm them, he is hiding from the public the truth:

I have long found it curious that anti-smoking advocates and groups fail to praise and congratulate vapers who have completely quit smoking for having completely quit smoking.
