Thus, Dr. Henningfield has a financial interest in bringing about regulatory policies that will drive current smokers to use nicotine-replacement-therapy products."

If Senator Hannon were truly committed to protecting the health of children in New York, he would propose banning the sale of cigarettes, which are the primary source of nicotine poisoning among New York residents.
