Christopher Snowdon reported the details of the story back in February. He wrote:

I got curious and after getting a cup of coffee, I did a bit of research and some reviews on what everyone else thought about the caffeine infused E-Juice. And sure enough a lot of people said the same thing; however some people claim to experience headaches as well. I was fortunate to not be one of these people, but I can definitely see this happening considering caffeine (as well as a lot of other items such as bananas and even chocolate) is a trigger food for migraines. "The FDA proposalwouldsignificantly delay the implementation of premarket review for newly covered products. Most egregiously, the proposal creates a twenty-four month provisional period for the submission of tobacco product marketing applications. Applicationsreceived during the provisional period enable thecontinued marketing of the productuntil the FDA acts on the application which may be wellbeyond the twenty-fourmonth period. A similar loophole was established during the passage of the Act to apply to cigarettes and smokeless products. The FDA received 3,517 applications but three years later has only issued an order removing four products from the market. After the withdrawal of 117 applications, the tobacco companies are still able to market the unapproved products represented by the 3,396 outstanding applications."

Thus, the rest of the story is that Senator Rockefeller protected Big Tobacco and helped them to continue to see the color green of dollars by voting to exempt menthol cigarettes from legislation that banned every other flavor. In other words, he sold out to Philip Morris, agreeing to this exemption that would allow Big Tobacco to continue to addict America's children with flavored cigarettes. Nearly 50% of youth smokers in the U.S. become addicted to smoking via menthol cigarettes.

So are the premium E-Juices really worth the high price tag over the cheaper E-Juices This depends on person to person. For me, I’ve tried dozens of E-Juices, and there were cheaper E-Juices I really loved as well as a lot of the premium E-Juices as well. However, a satisfying cheap E-Juice is difficult to find. I’m certainly not saying it doesn’t exist but more often than not, they tend to disappoint; whereas the premium flavors are spot on and taste incredible most of the time. But again I stress taste is subjective; you may find some of the premium flavors absolutely horrible and be out $30. So definitely read some of the reviews before purchasing if you are a cautious buyer.
