Sadly, Stan Glantz continues to feel the need to lie to the public in order to try to discredit opinions with which he does not agree. The authors concluded that e-cigarette (use) was not helpful, but that would be true for any treatment however effective if only treatment failures were evaluated."

In addition, there is little evidence that as marketed and used in the United States, these products are helping a substantial proportion of smokers to stay off cigarettes.
