Now, thanks to Drs. Blum and Muhlberg, we find out that all the complaining by the anti-smoking groups about the "wild, wild West" of e-cigarette marketing in an unregulated environment is bogus, as these groups failed to insist on an amendment which would have regulated e-cigarettes as tobacco products. Instead, these groups - back in 2009 - were actually fighting to get e-cigarettes off the market entirely. Regulating them as tobacco products would have meant institutionalizing their entrance and penetration into the market. It would have risked having these safer products compete with much more hazardous products like regular tobacco cigarettes. And that, by the reasoning of Tobacco-Free Kids and Friends, would have been a disaster.

However, from a public health perspective, the relevant question is not what results one would obtain if smokers were forced to use a particular strategy, but what results are obtained when smokers make the choice to use a particular strategy. This is why Stan Glantz's approach is inappropriate.

The proposed policies in New York State and Israel would severely harm the public's health by causing many vapers to go back to cigarette smoking. What justification is there for a law that we know would harm the public's health?

3. Electronic cigarettes have surpassed nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and other drugs as the most commonly used smoking cessation method.

To me personally it is really an art form and making it by hand meets my needs more than a machine. However, the aspect of human error doesn’t escape me either as an E-Juice maker can easily confuse VG and PG if they are not paying attention and botch up my E-Juice (it’s happened before, most likely will happen again); either way I am happy to see both vendors taking safety and contamination into heavy consideration prior to making and selling their E-Juices. I’ve seen many stores that make their E-Juice out in the open, next to food or drinks, and keeps mixing materials in the bathroom (yuck). Avoid those stores at all costs as the last thing you want in your E-Juice is someone’s lunch!!
