So itappears that the lie originated with the CDC and then was adopted by SenatorBlumenthal. He may not be deserving of all of the blame here. The CDC must bearthe responsibility for originating this lie.

In other words, what these members of Congress are asking the nation's law enforcement chiefs to do is to violate their own state laws.

As is so often the case, the answer is money.
